    FOR THE U.S. BEACH NATIONALS

    All age-group weight classes to be determined after weigh-ins using the blocked weight system.

    Bantam: (Born 2005-2006)

    Intermediate: (Born 2003-2004)

    Novice: (Born 2001-2002)

    Schoolboy/girl: (Born 1999-2000)

    Cadet: (Born 1997-1998)

    Junior*: (Born September 1, 1993 & after, plus enrolled in grades 9-12)

    Senior Men: (Born 1993 or before; 1994-1995 with medical certificate) 70 KG, 80 KG, 90 KG, +90 KG

    Senior Women: (Born 1993 or before; 1994-1996 with medical certificate) 60 KG, 70 KG, +70 KG

    Veterans:

    Div. A: Born during the years of 1981 and 1988

    Div. B: Born during the years of 1973 and 1980

    Div. C: Born during the years of 1965 and 1972

    Div. D: Born during the years of 1958 and 1964

    Div. E: Born 1957 and before.

    International Athletes (including Canadians), are eligible in all age group divisions, excluding the Senior age group divisions (Men and Women).

    *JUNIOR DIVISION: Athletes shall be considered eligible to compete in Junior Division competitions if he/she is currently attending high school, or participating in a program considered by the State's Department of Education to be fulfilling the athlete's requirements for graduation from an accredited high school program, or if a summer event, attended high school, or participated in a program considered by the State's Department of Education to be fulfilling the athlete's requirements for graduation from an accredited high school program the Spring semester just prior to the summer event. In addition, the athlete has only four consecutive years to compete in the Junior Division once his/her class begins the ninth grade
