Wrestlers must qualify to enter this event! Wrestlers can compete in as many regionals as they choose, but wrestlers can ONLY QUALIFY FOR KIDS NATIONALS BY PARTICIPATING IN THEIR DESIGNATED REGIONAL.
Please be aware that wrestlers are not allowed to DROP in weight class from the regional to the nationals. Whatever weight class the wrestler weigh-ins at for the regional (not necessarily competes at, but what the scale actually reads) is the lowest weight class the wrestler is eligible to compete at for the nationals.

The Kids Freestyle & Greco-Roman National Championships is the final event in USA Wrestling's prestigious Kids Triple Crown Wrestling Series. Athletes that win the championship the 2012 ASICS USAW Folkstyle Nationals and USAW's 2012 ASICS Greco-Roman and Freestyle National Championships will be recognized as 2012 Triple Crown Champions. All 2012 Triple Crown winners will have their picture on the 2012-2013 USA Wrestling National Events poster!
Winners will be presented special awards and will be honored in USA Wrestler, the official publication of USA Wrestling. All Triple Crown winners will be asked to remain after the end of the freestyle awards ceremony for recognition and a special photo session.
