Contestants are randomly drawn by computer. Wrestlers from the same state will be separated.

Junior Division: One pool will be used for brackets with fewer than six (6) competitors and two pools will be employed if there are six (6) or more entrants in any given weight class.

Kids & Cadet Divisions: One pool will be used for brackets with fewer than six (6) competitors and two pools will be employed if there are six (6) or more entrants in any given weight class. Weights with two (2) competitors shall wrestle two (2) out of three (3) to determine region champion. With the exception to those in the weight class below heavyweight in each age division, athletes will have the option to be moved up one weight class (only) if they are the only contestant in their weight class.
