Rules & Bracketing
Contestants are randomly drawn by computer. FILA Junior Division: One pool will be used for brackets with fewer than six (6) competitors and two pools will be employed if there are six (6) or more entrants in any given weight class. Wrestlers from the same club will be separated. A true-second match will be used to determine the National Team Rankings for the FILA Junior age-group, if the 2nd and 3rd place winners have not previous met in the tournament. However, the true-second match WILL NOT effect the final tournament placement. FILA Cadet and Girl’s (Grades 3rd—6th and Grades 7th—8th) Divisions: One pool will be used for brackets with fewer than six (6) competitors and two pools will be employed if there are six (6) or more entrants in any given weight class. A true-second match will be used to determine the National Team Rankings for the FILA Cadet age-group, if the 2nd and 3rd place winners have not previous met in the tournament. However, the true-second match WILL NOT effect the final tournament placement.
