Clinic featuring Freestyle National Team set for Edge Hoboken in New Jersey, Saturday, November 17

There will be a special clinic featuring athletes and coaches from the Freestyle National Team this Saturday, November 17 in Hoboken, N.J. from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The clinic will be held at Edge Hoboken, 417 Newark St (2nd Floor), Hoboken, NJ , 07030.

A portion of the proceeds from the clinic will be donated to the Hurricane Sandy relief effort, with additional funds going to the U.S. Freestyle National Team.

The U.S. Freestyle National Team has been training this past week at the Edge Hoboken facility in preparation for the upcoming international wrestling season. This is an opportunity to give back to the local community there.

The cost of this special clinic is $40 per wrestler (plus a current 2012-13 USA Wrestling Membership). Members should have their card number; non-members can purchase a card at door or online at http://www.usawmembership.com.

The clinic will help wrestlers to prepare for their upcoming season and learn world-class technique. Participation will make an athlete that much closer to becoming a champion. Technique benefits of the clinic is a focus is on neutral position wrestling. There will be an autograph and photo session afterwards. The clinic is open to wrestlers of all ages and skill levels.

National Freestyle Coach Zeke Jones and some of the nation’s best freestyle athletes will be at the clinic to work with the wrestlers who attend.

The Edge is located on the second level above the Hoboken Car Wash. The entrance into the facility is located on Newark Street between Grand and Adams.

The Edge is a short walk from the Hoboken Train Terminal/Path Station and is on the NJ Transit 87 Bus Route. There is a pay parking lot at 77 Park.
