Open Position Duckunder

A duckunder from an open position illustrates the versatility of a great level change.

The attacker in the red singlet fakes a shot with his left hand by reaching towards his opponent's right leg.
|
Without the benefit of a tieup, the attacker's fake shot freezes the right side of his opponent.
|
He drops his level deeply and plants off of his left hand, while beginning a hard windmill rotation with his right hand.
|
The fake at the left leg forced the defender to sprawl. Notice his poor position with his hips back and leg straightened.

At this point the attacker has rotated or ducked under the right arm getting him to the corner of his opponent's stance

The attacker wraps with his left hand.
|
Here he begins his go-behind, while changing his level through his opponent.
